At Live Oaks Academy, we partner with parents in a hybrid structure to prepare children academically and spiritually to live in a way that pleases God, loves others, and use the gifts He’s given each of us to showcase His splendor.
Isaiah 61:3 says, “They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.” Our desire is to see each child thrive academically and spiritually for the glory of God.

Hybrid Learning
Hybrid homeschool removes the burden of lesson planning and primary instruction from parents. It combines the benefits of homeschool with the education, structure and the meaningful peer interactions of a private classroom model.
Students receive a high quality education at less than half the cost of private schools. A two-day classroom week allows families to maintain some flexibility, while retaining the ability to better build & strengthen bonds with your child.
Assessment-Led Approach
Live Oaks incorporates assessment-led and composite (multi age) classrooms, rather than a grade-defined approach.
This allows students to be placed in classes where advanced students will be challenged and avoids labels that can limit academic growth and hamper a healthy identity development.
It allows students to engage with peers across age ranges and encourages students to learn from one another, fostering a sense of community and embracing the natural diversity of children’s abilities, skills and interests. It also allows teachers to be placed where their passion and skills shine, rather than teaching across all grade-level subjects.
Multi-Sensory
Live Oaks offers a strong foundation of core subjects, as well as electives, enrichment offerings and field trips.
We foster the development of a Godly worldview through daily devotions, weekly scripture memory and apologetics courses.
Live Oaks staff encourages exploration and infuses joy in learning. Teachers nurture critical thinking and problem solving skills, as well as social emotional development. The curriculum incorporates diverse learning styles and a multi-sensory approach to teaching.
