What is the schedule like?

Classes are Mondays and Wednesday from 8 am to 3 pm. Drop off begins at 7:50 am and pick up is by 3:15 pm. Option pay-as-you- go enrichment classes will be held on Thursdays and vary in length.

Do parents need to stay with their kids?

No, parents do not need to stay. This is a drop-off program.

What grades Are Taught at Live Oaks?

Tentatively grades PreK-8th (with 1-2 additional grade levels added per year).

What are the core subjects?

Core subjects to include language arts, math, science, history/geography, art/music, and apologetics/Bible.

How much is tuition?

Tuition is $2600 for Monday/Wednesday classes. Pop-up enrichment/elective offerings on Thursdays will be pay per class with fee based on class length/topic & enrollment optional.

Is there a payment plan option?

There will be a $200 enrollment fee due when enrolling. Parents will have the option of paying the remaining $2400 in installments of $600 each, due in July, August, December and January. Alternately, parents will save $100 if tuition is paid in full in July.

What is the student-teacher ratio?

We have a 16:1 student-teacher ratio.

How do you nurture the students' spiritually?

We have devotion time as well as praise and worship twice a week, as well as Apologetics classes for all grades.

What kind of focus is put on art and music?

Children are taught classical art and music. They learn about classic art styles and artists. During music classes, they learn about classical composers and music theory.

What will my student do during non-classroom days?

Parents help their students practice and master the material at home.

Is Live Oaks an Accredited School?

No, Live Oaks is a hybrid homeschool. You will still need to report attendance and progress to the state.

What do I need to do with the state in order for my child to attend?

South Carolina statutes provide parents or guardians with three different options for homeschooling their children. In order to fulfill legal requirements as a homeschooler, parents must register their students with an Option 2 or Option 3 Accountability Group.
